Paul entered the investment industry in 1986 and joined Baird in 1995. Paul’s investment philosophy is to work in partnership with his clients in order to establish a long-term, disciplined investment strategy that balances risk and return through a combination of income and growth investments. “The key is to help clients analyze how individual investments fit into the bigger picture and help them achieve their goals,” says Paul.
In 1985, Paul earned his Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He obtained his Senior Investment Consultant designation from Baird in conjunction with the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business in September 2003. Paul is a Private Investment Manager at Baird
Active in his community, Paul serves as a board member of the Cascade Hills Country Club Board as well as being a past president of the club. He has also been involved with the U of M Club of Grand Rapids, U of M Alumni Association and the National Association of Investment Clubs – West Michigan Chapter.
Paul resides in East Grand Rapids with his wife, Jackie, and their three children, Rebecca, Matthew and Eric. In his leisure time he enjoys playing golf, running, and mountain biking.
